About the work

Austin joined Outdoor Alliance's lobbying trip for a second time in 2026, documenting 60 outdoor advocates representing climbing, skiing, surfing, running, paddling and mountain biking. He followed different groups into meetings with congressional staff and representatives, photographing moments of connection, education and passion for conservation. Austin also took part in meetings as an Arizona constituent, advocating for the public lands where he recreates.
