About the work

Austin works within the trail-running community to document the people and places that shape each TransRockies event. The ongoing assignment centers on broad runner coverage and fast delivery for the organizer, race participants, and future event marketing.

The assignment

Brief
Photograph each day of the race for social media and other marketing uses.
Audience
Trail runners, race participants, and future participants.
Approach
Work from within the trail-running community and build on an established organizer relationship to create high-quality, people-centered coverage.

A daily gallery designed to include as many runners as possible.
